About Mamanuca Islands Tours
This is an independent guide to day trips through the Mamanuca group: which boat lands on which island, what the crossing takes from Port Denarau, and what you still have to pay once you get there. We sell nothing and handle no bookings. The homepage sets out the Mamanuca Islands tours sailing out of Nadi and Denarau.
Why this site exists
Search for a Mamanuca day trip and you get three kinds of result. A booking platform drops 200 listings on you with no way to tell them apart. An operator sells you their own boat and nothing else. A resort page describes an island you cannot reach without booking a room there.
None of them answer the questions that decide the day. Does this cruise actually stop at Monuriki or does it sail past? How much cash does the island want when you step off the boat? Is the meeting point at the marina, or is it a beach 20 minutes away that nobody can find? That is what this guide puts in one place.
What we cover, and what we leave out
We write about day trips into the Mamanuca Islands that start and finish near Nadi: the full-day cruises, the sailing catamarans, the half-day snorkel runs and the scenic flight. We do not cover resort stays, and we have no relationship with any operator, so nothing here is an endorsement or a guarantee.
What we do is read the current listings, the operators' own terms and the recent reviews, then line them up against the details people ask about at the check-in desk:
- The islands each trip lands on, not just the ones it passes
- Crossing times from Port Denarau, island by island
- Landing fees, fuel surcharges and card fees that no online price includes
- Where the boat boards, and how far that is from your hotel

Where the numbers come from
Prices, ratings and review counts are read from the live GetYourGuide listings for each trip and shown in US dollars. Landing fees, surcharges, meeting points and restrictions come from the operators' own listing text and terms. Crossing times follow the South Sea Cruises timetable out of Port Denarau. Island facts, including the Monuriki conservation work, come from the National Trust of Fiji and published records, and the seasonal figures from Fiji climate averages.
Prices move, and Fijian operators have changed fuel surcharges twice this year. Whatever appears at checkout on the booking platform is the version that counts.
How the site pays for itself
Reading this costs nothing. Some links here are affiliate links, so if you book after clicking one, the booking platform may pay us a commission. Your price is the same either way.
The commission does not decide what appears on this page or in what order. We put the $90 half-day next to the $370 flight, we name the trip that never lets you off the boat, and we quote the review that complains about a missed lunch. A page that prints only praise is no use to anyone choosing between two boats.
